Hills East Loses to Comsewogue after Rainout
The game was postponed until Friday, after Thursday night's thunder and lightning show...But Friday's results weren't as exciting.
The Half Hollow Hills East football game was called Thursday night because of the dangerous lightning, but the rematch on Friday didn't have favorable results for Hills East, who got shut out 39-0.
The game against Comsewogue started off with a bang on Friday, when Comsewogue got a questionable touchdown in the game's first half.
Coach Hill disputed the touchdown, stating that the Comsewogue player was downed then pushed into the end zone to achieve the touchdown. But Comsewogue retained their touchdown, and that was the beginning of the end for East. They never scored a point.
