It's St. Paddy's Day! Come Celebrate

3. , at Cielo, 321 Smithtown Bypass, Hauppauge, NY 11788  from 5 p.m.–9 p.m. The Michael W. McCarthy Foundation  hosts a St.Patrick's Day fundraising event at Cielo for the benefit of The Memorial Foundation and Life's Worc. The $50 donation/admission includes open bar, Italian/Irish buffet and raffles. All proceeds of the evening go to Life's Worc and the Dina McGowan Memorial Foundation. Dix Hills resident and Half Hollow Hills School District special education teacher, Dina McGowan, lost her battle with a rare form of pancreatic cancer, called neuroendocrine carcinoid tumorscancer, on July 12, 2010.  This foundation has been started in the spirit in which Dina lived her life.  To support to the children she was passionate about and spent her career dedicated trying to help. RSVP on the Facebook page. 631-979-1918. Price: $50 donation/admission.
4. St. Patrick's Day at , 10 Pinelawn Rd, Melville, NY 11747. Join Blackstone Steakhouse for Irish Specials such as corned beef and shephard's pie as well as live entertainment for St. Patricks Day. For lunch there will be authentic Irish specials and live music by John Custie performing an accordian set of Irish and Celtic music from 12:30-2:30 p.m. For dinner there will be an Irish dinner celebration with entertainment by the Hagen School of Irish Dance at 7 p.m. followed by singer Kate Purcell from 7:30-10 p.m. Make your reservations at 631-271-7780. Website.
