LI Man Who Paid Underage Girls For Sexual Photos Sentenced To Prison

MELVILLE, NY — A Melville man was sentenced to five to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to child pornography and coercion charges, prosecutors said Monday.

Bradley Garyn, 29, paid girls for sexual photos and pictures of their feet through Snapchat, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney. Prosecutors began investigating Garyn in September 2020 after a girl told law enforcement that Garyn coerced her into providing him with explicit photographs and videos on Snapchat, officials said.

“This defendant exploited numerous young and impressionable teenagers in order to satisfy his own prurient and repugnant desires,” Tierney said. “The actions by this defendant will not be tolerated in Suffolk County, and the term of imprisonment he will serve for these crimes, as well as the orders of protection we have obtained on behalf of these victims, will ensure that this defendant cannot continue to engage in such abhorrent criminal behavior.”

Garyn contacted multiple teen girls on Snapchat under multiple usernames including “ipay4feetpics,” “paying4feetpics” and “PayU4Selfies,” authorities said. Garyn offered $10 payment in exchange for “selfies” or photographs of the girls’ feet, Tierney's Office said.

Garyn would then solicit increasingly explicit photographs and videos in exchange for higher amounts of money, up to $500, authorities said. In one instance, Garyn coerced a girl into sending him sexually explicit photographs and video by threatening to spread intimate images of her, the DA said.

Garyn was arrested in December 2020. Search warrants were executed by law enforcement to seize and search various computer equipment and cellular telephones in his possession.

Garyn admitted he used Snapchat to lure young girls between ages 12 and 16 by offering them Amazon gift codes in exchange for pictures of their feet and faces, authorities said. Garyn admitted he groomed the girls so that he could later coerce them into sending him nude and sexually explicit pictures and videos of themselves, Tierny's Office said.

Garyn pleaded guilty to the following charges on Sept. 19:

• Four counts of use of a child in a sexual performance.
• Four counts of promoting sexual performance by a child
• One count of possessing a sexual performance by a child.
• Four counts of first-degree disseminating indecent materials to a minor.
• Three counts of first-degree coercion.
• Five counts of third-degree criminal solicitation.
• Five counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
• One count of fourth-degree criminal solicitation.
