Half Hollow Hills Community Library Partners with Hoopla Digital to Give Patrons Online and Mobile Access to Free Movies and TV Shows
Library card-holders can now borrow dynamic content from their smartphones, tablets and PCs
Dix Hills, N.Y. (Feb. 06, 2014) – Half Hollow Hills Community Library today announced public availability of thousands of movies and television shows, all available for mobile and online access through a new partnership with hoopla digital (hoopladigital.com).

Half Hollow Hills card holders can download the free hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or IOS device or visit hoopladigital.com to begin enjoying thousands of titles – from major Hollywood studios – available to borrow for instant streaming or temporary downloading to their smartphones, tablets, computers and Apple TV.

“We’re always exploring new services that foster reading for our patrons, while providing on-the-go access to the library’s information,” said a spokesperson for Half Hollow Hills Community Library. “With hoopla digital, content ranges from entertainment to educational, so there’s something for everyone. Patrons only need a library card to get started and all content is free of charge. It’s also digital so there is no waiting period for popular titles and hoopla’s automatic return means no late fees.”
Half Hollow Hills Community Library is the eighth in the region to offer the service, joining Kent Public Library, Reed Memorial Library, Commack Public Library, Onondaga County Public Library and others.
