Man Steals $1.1K In Golf Clubs From Melville Store: Police

MELVILLE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who police said stole golf equipment from a Melville store in April.

A man stole TaylorMade Stealth Golf Clubs from Dick’s Sporting Goods, at 870 Walt Whitman Road, around 10:30 a.m. April 22, police said. The clubs were valued at approximately $1,100, police said. The man is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
