Melville's Allied Physicians Group Hosting 6th Annual Gala 9/24

Melville, NY; September 10, 2019 – On Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Adjuvant.Health, powered by Melville-headquartered Allied Physicians Group, provider of a full suite of consultative services to support all Physician business and administrative needs, will host its Inaugural Annual Conference for pediatricians focusing on "Innovations in Pediatric Care & Business." Immediately following the conference, Allied Physicians Group will host the 6th Annual Gala at 6:30 p.m. to benefit the Allied Foundation. Highlighting the Gala theme, "Bridging the Gap Between Confusion & Clarity in Healthcare: Do You Have What It Takes To Build The Bridge?," will be author and healthcare leader Mohamad (Mo) S. Kasti, Chief Executive Officer of CTI's Physician Leadership Institute.

Both events will take place at The Garden City Hotel in Garden City, NY. The Conference will provide doctors and pediatricians valuable resources and strategies for enhancing their medical practices and the Gala will support the nonprofit Allied Foundation. The Allied Foundation was formed in 2015 with the mission to improve the health and well-being of people in the community. Its efforts are focused on four pillars of purpose that include community service, newborn support, early childhood literacy, and community education.

Doctors and pediatricians from the tri-state are expected to attend the inaugural conference, which is being offered at no cost. Programs will highlight medical technology and business topics that offer best practices and strategies to enhance efficiency and patient centered care. Presentations will be offered by the following experts on the following topics:

• Valerie Mayer of Adjuvant.Health, who will discuss "Best Financial Strategies for Practice Owners"
• Leslie Tarver of Adjuvant.Health, who will lead discussion on "Telemedicine: A Platform, A Device, Now What?"
• Megan Millevoy of Adjuvant.Health, who will present "Human Resources: Managing Employees and Your Bottom Line Effectively"
• Jeanne Marconi, MD of The Center for Advanced Pediatrics, who will lead a conversation on the topic of "Asthma Management: Improving Asthma Management Within Your Practice"

During the conference telemedicine technology for immediate care will be demonstrated.

The Gala will feature a performance of the National Anthem by members of the Long Island Children's Choir.

Gala attendees will hear an inspiring speech from Keynote Speaker Mohamad (Mo) S. Kasti, M.S., MBB, MCA, Chief Executive Officer of CTI's Physician Leadership Institute, and distinguished author. He will focus on the Gala's theme and discuss leadership, strategy, innovation, teamwork, and perseverance. The Gala will also include remarks from Allied Physicians Group's Dr. Kerry Fierstein, Adjuvant.Health's Etan Walls, as well as Allied Foundation's Dr. Jennifer Shaer and Heather Edwards along with a special Andrew Fierstein Memorial Award presentation made to a pediatric resident by Dr. Fierstein.
