Messy Active Play

Remember playing in the sandbox? Or splashing water around? Finger painting?

Those sensory activities are actually good for your children. They allow kids to use their senses of sight, hearing, touch and smell. Hands-on play also helps develop their fine motor skills (eye-hand coordination).

This week, while schools were on vacation, you may have been looking for something to do with your toddler. A way for them to get messy--without messing up your house.

Just in time, the offered for children ages 1-5 years old--not yet in kindergarten-- and a caregiver.

They held it downstairs in the community room and everything is set up on the floor. The children go from station to station and try all sorts of fun, messy activities such as shaving cream painting, finger painting, water play, sand play, etc.
