Mother, 4 Children Hurt After Car Skids Off Road

MELVILLE, NY – A mother and her four children were hospitalized with minor injuries following a single-car crash in Melville on Saturday.

The Melville Fire Department responded to a report of a car that skidded off the road into a tree on Bagatelle Road near Sorrel Hill Court at about 5:20 p.m.

Two ambulances and a heavy rescue truck were dispatched and under the direction of Assistant Chief David Kaplan. The Melville Rescue Squad transported the mother and her four children to Huntington Hospital.
