UPDATE: Melville Teen Charged in Stabbing in HS East Parking Lot During Football Game

A 19-year-old from Dix Hills was stabbed during a fight in the Half Hollow Hills High School East parking lot Friday night and another local teen now faces charges, police said.
Police said Kamal Williams, 17, of Melville, stabbed the unnamed 19-year-old in a fight “over a prior dispute” at about 7:18 p.m.

The victim was taken to Huntington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Williams was arrested on Saturday and charged with assault and second degree menacing.
The stabbing in Dix Hills occurred while the game was still being played. Hills East won the game 41-13.
