Stern Presents Surplus Computers to HHH Robotics Team

Club will utilize parts from the computers in the design and build of next year's robot.

Legis. Steve Stern, D-Huntington, recently presented surplus county computers to the Half Hollow Hills “Thundercolts” Robotics Team and awarded a proclamation to the team in recognition of its outstanding performance in the “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology” (FIRST) Robotics Competition.   

The Thundercolts, composed of more than 50 students from high schools East and West, competing in just its third year, outscored 64 other high schools to win the coveted Xerox Engineering Design “Creativity Award." 

The club will utilize parts from the computers in the design and build of next year’s robot.
