Suffolk Residential Facility Ex-Employee Raped Teen Resident: Police

DIX HILLS, NY — A former Dix Hills residential facility employee was arrested Saturday after he had sex with a teenage resident, Suffolk police said.

Hayden Daley, 27, of Deer Park, who was an employee of WellLife Network, at 43 Arista Drive, began a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old resident at the facility on July 3, police said. Daley, who is no longer employed at the facility, continued the sexual relationship with the teen, police said.

Daley was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree criminal sex act, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
