T-Birds Attend Football University Top Gun Camp
Local players are chosen for invitation-only program to play with NFL coaches.

Three Hills East varsity football players were chosen to participate in the prestigious Football University Top Gun program, the biggest assimilation of high school and youth football talent in the nation.
The week-long, invitation-only camp is run by many current NFL coaches and past and present players, who teach technique to all position players.
Hills East seniors Michael Morris, wide receiver; Mike La Russo, linebacker and Sophomore Blaise Spinelli, linebacker, were selected for the University's Top Gun program, taking place this month in Williamsburg, Va.

The Hills East T-Birds are continuing to train for the 2012-13 season. The team defeated Hauppaugue High School in a scrimmage Saturday, scoring four touchdowns in the match. RJ Nitti threw three touchdown passes, two to DJ Paul and one to Michael Morris. One interception for a touchdown was made by Mike Dwoskin.
