Trio Steals $6,700 In Clothes From Suffolk Store: Police

MELVILLE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the three men who police said stole merchandise from a Melville store in June.

Three men stole Nike clothing from Dick’s Sporting Goods, at 870 Walt Whitman Road, around 10:55 a.m. on June 8, police said. The clothing was valued at approximately $6,700, police said. The trio is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
