Trio Stole 15 North Face Jackets From Melville Shop: Police

The jackets were worth a total of around $5,700, police say.

MELVILLE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the three people who police said stole merchandise from a Melville store.

Two men and a woman stole 15 North Face jackets, valued at approximately $5,700, from Public Lands, at 870 Walt Whitman Road, at 1:40 p.m. on Jan. 17, police said on Thursday.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
