U-Turn Gone Wrong Injures 1 In Dix Hills
The two-car crash occurred Tuesday morning, police say.
A car making a U-turn in Dix Hills caused a two-vehicle crash that sent one person to the hospital Tuesday morning, police say.
According to authorities, a man was driving a Toyota northbound on Deer Park Avenue, near Caledonia Road, when he made a U-turn and struck a Hyundai traveling southbound at 7:05 a.m.
The woman driving the Hyundai was transported to Southside Hospital to be evaluated. The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
