The library’s subscription to the Freegal Music Service has been upgraded to allow streaming music, in addition to free downloads. Freegal allows cardholders to download and keep three songs per week, or to stream up to three hours of advertising-free music every day. Users can create playlists and add specific songs or entire albums, or use some of the twenty pre-loaded playlists such as classic rock, Broadway, sound tracks, R & B, alternative, kids, and country.
