Woman Charged With Prostitution In Raid Of Suffolk Massage Parlor: PD

The raid was conducted after community and quality of life complaints, police say.

MELVILLE, NY — A Flushing woman faces prostitution charges following a raid at a Melville massage parlor on Tuesday, Suffolk police said.

Detectives and Town of Huntington officials investigated Lucky 8 Foot Spa, at 704 Walt Whitman Road, at 3:29 p.m., after community and quality of life complaints, police said.

Rui Liu, 44, was arrested and charged with two counts of prostitution, two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession and one count of second-degree criminal nuisance. She was released on a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on May 1.
