Woman Sought In Parking Lot Robbery

Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a woman who they say robbed another woman in a parking lot last month.

According to police, the woman pushed the victim to the ground as she attempted to get into her car in the parking lot of the Walgreens, located at 984 New York Ave., on Nov. 3 around 2:30 p.m. The suspect stole the woman’s purse and fled on foot east on Olive Street, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
