Man Killed, Gunman At Large In Harlem, Police Say

Police have not made any arrests yet and are investigating the incident.

HARLEM, NY — A 26-year-old man was shot to death inside a Harlem apartment building on Sunday afternoon, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the victim was inside 231 West 149th St. between Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard when he was shot in the torso at 2:06 p.m. Sunday.

Medics rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not made any arrests yet and are investigating the incident.

The identity of the victim is being kept private until his family can be properly notified.
