EAST HARLEM, NY— Police are searching for suspects after a man was stabbed on a subway in East Harlem on Tuesday afternoon, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the victim, a 29-year-old man, was on board a downtown-bound 4 train at 125th Street station at 1:17 p.m. when he got into an argument with the two suspects.
The victim was then stabbed in the back with an unknown sharp object, police said.
After the assault, the suspects fled the station at Lexington Avenue and East 125th Street, and the victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
Police said no arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is underway.
