HARLEM, NY — Police are searching for three suspects who robbed a Harlem apartment at gunpoint over the weekend, New York City Police Department officials said Tuesday.

According to the NYPD, two men, 24 and 21, were in their apartment on Old Broadway between West 131st Street and West 133rd Street on Sunday at 3:35 p.m. when three suspects knocked on their door.

As the victims opened their door, the three suspects displayed a firearm and forced their way inside, police said.

The suspects took bottles of promethazine — a prescription sedative and antihistamine — from the apartment, police said.

The suspects then fled the location on foot.

Police are investigating the incident and have released photos of the suspects.

Police said anyone with information regarding the robbery can call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or on X (formerly Twitter) @NYPDTips.
