HARLEM, NY — Three people, including two police officers, were injured in a car crash involving a police car in Harlem Thursday morning, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the crash happened at 8 a.m. near West 124th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard.
Two NYPD officers suffered moderate injuries, and one person suffered minor injuries. All were taken to a local hospital, police said.
Police officials closed nearby streets surrounding the intersection shortly after the crash to investigate.
NYPD officials did not say what led up to the crash.
