Baby Girl Found Safe After Alleged Harlem Abduction
A nine-month-old girl was found safe hours after police reported she was in danger and issued an AMBER alert.

Update, 12:42 a.m. Tuesday: Gaines has been found safe and the AMBER Alert has been canceled, authorities said.
HARLEM, NY — Authorities on Monday issued an AMBER Alert for a nine-month-old girl who was abducted in Harlem hours earlier.
Mi Angel Gaines was taken by 22-year-old Antonio Armstrong around 2:50 a.m. Monday in front of 2433 Frederick Douglass Boulevard, near 131st Street, police said.

Police described Mi Angel as Black, with long, black hair and black eyes, last seen wearing a red, white and blue onesie.
Armstrong is Black and about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 200 pounds. He has a tattoo of a microphone on his neck, police said. It was not clear whether they are related.

Authorities sent the alert around 12:30 p.m. Monday, saying they feared the baby was in imminent danger.
Anyone with information about the alleged abduction is asked to call the NYPD's 32nd Precinct at 212-690-6315, or dial 911 to report a possible sighting.
