Cops Serving Search Warrant In Harlem Find Man Dead
A man was found dead in a Hamilton Heights apartment Thursday by police officers who had come in to serve a search warrant.

HARLEM, NY — A man was found dead inside a Hamilton Heights apartment this week by police officers who had entered while serving a search warrant, police said.
Around 6 a.m. Thursday, cops entered an apartment at 601 West 142nd St., on the corner of Broadway, as part of an ongoing investigation.
Inside, they found a 52-year-old man lying on the floor, conscious but unresponsive, police said. Paramedics brought him to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An NYPD spokesperson had no details about what police were investigating when they entered the apartment.
The man's identity has not been released pending family notification, and the Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death.
