Missing East Harlem Man Is Found, Police Said

An elderly man reported missing in East Harlem Wednesday has been found and is at a local hospital, police said.

Anthony Goodwin, 70, was last seen around 2 p.m. Tuesday getting out of an Uber vehicle near 4 East 107th St., near Fifth Avenue, police said.

Update, 4 p.m. Wednesday: Goodwin has been found safe and is at Beth Israel Hospital, police said Wednesday afternoon.


EAST HARLEM, NY — Police asked for the public's help Wednesday finding an elderly man from East Harlem reported missing since Tuesday.

Anthony Goodwin, 70, was last seen around 2 p.m. Tuesday getting out of an Uber vehicle near 4 East 107th St., near Fifth Avenue, police said. Goodwin lives about 10 blocks away.

Police described Goodwin as 6 feet, 3 inches tall and about 250 pounds, with brown eyes and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a brown shirt, tan pants and a black "newsboy style" cap.
