Man, Woman Struck By Subway Trains In Harlem; 1 Killed
A man was fatally struck by a subway Tuesday night at a Harlem station, followed hours later by a woman who was injured.
HARLEM, NY — A man and a woman were struck by subway trains, one fatally, within hours of each other at two different stations on Tuesday and Wednesday, police said.
Around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, a northbound 1 train at the 137th Street station struck the unidentified man, who was walking on the tracks before he was hit, according to police.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. No criminality is suspected.

Then, around 7 a.m. Wednesday, a 39-year-old woman fell between two subway cars near the 110th Street–Central Park North station, police said.
She suffered injuries to her legs and arms and was brought to St. Luke's Hospital, but was expected to survive.

Both incidents disrupted train service for about an hour each Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
