Missing East Harlem Man, 89, Sought By Police
Authorities asked for help finding Teofilo Torres Martinez, who was last seen on Saturday at his East Harlem home.

EAST HARLEM, NY — Police appealed to the public for help finding an elderly East Harlem man who has been missing since Saturday.
Teofilo Torres Martinez, 89, was last seen around 4 p.m. Saturday at his home at 2021 Lexington Ave. near East 127th Street, police said.
He was still missing as of Monday morning.

He was described as about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue checkered button-up shirt with blue jeans and white Adidas sneakers.
Police shared a photo of Martinez and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
