Host and executive producer of Democracy Now! in a unique evening conversation on college's campus

Purchase, NY October 16, 2014 -- Manhattanville College invites the public to a unique evening conversation with Amy Goodman, the host and executive producer of Democracy Now!, an award-winning independent news program airing daily on over 1,200 public television and radio stations world wide.
The event takes place on Tuesday, October 21 at 7 PM in the West Room at Reid Castle on Manhattanville’s campus in Purchase, NY.
Goodman’s fifth book, The Silenced Majority: Stories of Uprisings, Occupations, Resistance, and Hope, written with Denis Moynihan, rose to #11 on the New York Times bestseller list. This timely follow-up to her fourth New York Times bestseller, Breaking the Sound Barrier, gives voice to the many ordinary people standing up to corporate and government power.
