Arrests In Harrison During Super Bowl Weekend Crackdown

New York State Police from Troop k announced 19 DWI arrests over the weekend.


HARRISON, NY — New York State Police from Troop K announced they took 19 impaired drivers off New York roads during their 2018 Super Bowl Weekend crackdown. Two of those arrests were made on I-684 in Harrison.

  • On February 2, 2018, State Police from SP Somers arrested Shivashankar Prasad, age 39, of Mahopac, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Harrison, NY, when he was involved in a property damage motor vehicle collision. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On February 3, 2018, State Police from SP Lewisboro arrested Peter A. Leuthold, age 28, of Rye, NY, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Harrison, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
