HARRISON, NY — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Harrison, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Harrison Central School District.

The first day of school for most students in the Harrison Central School District is September 7.

"Snow Days: The Superintendent may designate inclement weather days as virual learning days, as permitted by NYSED. There arethree (3) additional snow days built into the calendar in the event school is closed and virtual learning cannot be accommodated.

- If 3 unused snow days remain, school will be closed on April 22, May 24, May 28.
- If 2 unused snow days remain, school will be closed on April 22 and May 24.
- If 1 unused snow day remains, school will be closed on April 22."
