Bike Workshops: Maintenance & Safety
Celebrate National Bike Month with bike workshops at the library!

HARRISON, NY -- Dust off your bikes and get them ready for the season with bike safety and hands-on maintenance workshops for all ages at the Harrison Public Library, Halperin Building.
John Viscogliosi of Danny's Cycles will teach kids about bike safety and show you how to fix flats, do minor adjustments, and keep up with maintenance. Bring your bikes to get personalized tips and help on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

10:30 AM - Bike Safety (for kids and families)
A quick refresher presented by John Viscogliosi of Danny's Cycles. Includes: bike safety, bicycle inspection (how to inspect a kid's bike to make sure it's safe to ride), and how to properly fit a kid's helmet. Kids are encouraged to bring their bikesand helmets for safety inspections!

11:00 AM - Basic Bike Maintenance & Tips (for adults and teens)
Bring your bikes to the library for a hands-on bike maintenance demonstration and get some personalized tips from Harrison's own John Viscogliosi of Danny's Cycles. We'll discuss basic maintenance of yourbicycle, cleaning, fixing flats, minor adjustments, etc.
Free and open to the public.
