Bridgeport CT Man Faces DWI Charge in Harrison

At about 5:19 a.m. July 19, State Police stopped a vehicle on I-287 for speeding, traveling 91 in a posted 55 mph zone.

Police say they found the driver, George Jakubowski, 21 of Bridgeport, CT, to be intoxicated.

When he was processed, his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.17 percent, police said.

Jakubowski was charged with:

• Driving While Intoxicated, Unclassified Misdemeanor

Jakubowski was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Harrison Court July 28.
