Broadview at Purchase College Hires New Medical Consultant

Purchase, New York - January 2026 – Broadview at Purchase College, the senior living community on the campus of Purchase College, has hired Peter Levi, MD as its medical consultant.

Dr. Levi is an internal medicine physician with more than 30 years of experience and currently has a successful medical practice in Westchester. He will serve as a medical consultant to residents at Broadview’s High Point Center for Care, which offers assisted living, enhanced assisted living, and memory care services.

High Point Center for Care, which opened in March, offers all-hours assistance and help with the activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.

Brittaney Jones-Alleyne, Health Services Director at High Point, said Dr. Levi will work in coordination with licensed nursing staff on-site around the clock, seven days a week.

“Our nursing staff will work with Dr. Levi to ensure that our residents have the highest level of care and in coordination with their own healthcare providers,’’ said Jones-Alleyne.

Dr. Levi graduated Medical School in Bucharest, Romania at the Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila in 1990. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia (affiliated with Temple University) and started a hospital-based private practice in Philadelphia.

In 2000, Dr. Levi moved to New York and worked in Hospital Medicine – at Maimonides Medical Center, Beth Israel Medical Center, Northern Westchester Hospital and Montefiore Medical Center where he still has admitting privileges. During this time, Dr. Levi also developed a successful private practice in Westchester County, NY.
