Connecticut Driver Charged with Pre-Dawn DWI
State police stopped him on I-95 in Harrison.

State Police stopped a vehicle on I-95 for a traffic violation at 4:58 a.m. May 17.
They observed that the driver of the vehicle, Peter Lorthe of Shelton, CT appeared to be intoxicated. Lorthe was transported and processed at State Police barracks in New Rochelle, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.10 percent. The 29-year-old was charged with:
- Driving While Intoxicated, Unclassified Misdemeanor
Lorthe was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on May 26.
