Connecticut Man Arrested for Drunk Driving in Harrison

His blood alcohol content was allegedly 0.18 percent

State Police arrested a Connecticut man for allegedly driving drunk Saturday.

Edras F. Alfaro, 23, of Norwalk, was stopped on Interstate 287 in Harrison for speeding.

Police said Alfaro appeared to be intoxicated.

He was taken to the Tarrytown barracks where his blood alcohol content was 0.18 percent.

Alfaro was charged with a misdemeanor count of aggravated driving while intoxicated.

He was released to a sober third party on an appearance ticket to return to court Nov. 5.
