Connecticut Man Charged with DWI in Harrison

State police said they stopped him for speeding on I-287.

New York State Police stopped a vehicle for speeding at 10:40 p.m. May 5 on I-287 in Harrison.

Police concluded the driver, Daniel T. Phillips of Goshen, CT, was intoxicated.

Phillips, 29, was transported and processed at SP New Rochelle where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.15 percent.

He was charged with:

  • Driving While Intoxicated, Unclassified Misdemeanor

Phillips was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Harrison Court May 21.
