Controversy Brews Between Harrison Town Board, Police over Bar Fight

Ed DiBuono and his wife, Jacqueline Greer, allegedly got into a skirmish with Scott Croce and Mary Ann Vaccaro at Delfino's in June.

Town and police officials in Harrison are reportedly at odds over a June barroom fight after which two Harrison officials allegedly gave false information to investigators, according to The Journal News.

Harrison Code Enforcement Officer Ed DiBuono and his wife, Town Clerk Jacqueline Greer, allegedly got into a skirmish at Delfino’s with retired Mamaroneck Village police officer Scott Croce and a woman he was with, named Mary Ann Vaccaro.

The accounts of the fight appear to differ from surveillance video, but DiBuono’s complaint led to Croce being arrested, writes The Journal News’ Richard Liebson. Those charges were dropped, and police wanted to charge DiBuono and Greer with giving a false report. However, the Town Board intervened and directed police to hand over the information to the Westchester County District Attorney’s office, and the D.A. declined to press charges.
