
HARRISON, NY – At 1:30 a.m. Jan. 14, New York State Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident on I-287 at Exit 9.
The investigation revealed that a Nissan Maxima rear ended a Honda Accord. The driver of the Nissan, Keith A. Francis, 42, of Mount Vernon, NY, was found to be intoxicated. He was transported and processed at state police offices in New Rochelle, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent. He was subsequently charged with:
- Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; a Misdemeanor
- Traffic Violation for Following To Close
Francis was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on Feb. 1, 2017 at 4 p.m.
