Cracker Jack-Flavored Pepsi With A Prize On The Side

PURCHASE, NY — The new Cracker Jack-flavored Pepsi comes complete with a Cracker Jack prize, but it will require more than just a trip to the supermarket to enjoy.

Purchase-based PepsiCo has announced its latest fusion soda in honor of the start of October baseball. The collaboration of the two iconic brands will combine the taste of Pepsi with the nostalgic blend of caramel, popcorn and peanut flavors of Cracker Jack. Each can will have one of four original peel-off temporary tattoos as an ode to classic Cracker Jack prizes.

The unique Pepsi x Cracker Jack beverage is the company's latest limited-edition product release in a long line of experimental flavors that included Pespi x Peeps, Pepsi Apple Pie and Flamin' Hot Mountain Dew.

"Pepsi is a brand with a deep legacy in sports and is an endemic part of the ballpark experience, so we thought it would only be fitting to help fans celebrate the biggest month in baseball with our latest limited-edition drop - Pepsi x Cracker Jack," Pepsi spokesperson Todd Kaplan said in a statement. "Our first ever Cracker Jack flavored cola perfectly blends the refreshing taste of Pepsi with the sweet caramel and peanut taste of Cracker Jack in a truly delicious collectible for the biggest of baseball fans."

Kaplan notes that the limited edition soda is only available through the Pepsi x Cracker Jack #PepsiSingToScore Sweepstakes on Twitter and Tik Tok.

Fans who post a video of themselves singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" with the hashtags #PepsiSingToScore and #Sweepstakes will get a shot to win one of 2,000 Pepsi x Cracker Jack cans. Winning fans will receive their Pepsi x Cracker Jack can in a specially designed box reminiscent of old school Cracker Jack packaging.

Three grand prize winners will receive a premium "Collector's Kit" with the Pepsi x Cracker Jack can nestled into a brand new baseball glove along with tickets to a final series game. Details can be found here.
