CT Man Arrested For DWI Faces Felony Drug Charge: Police

Police said he also had more than $3,500 in cash with him.

HARRISON, NY — A Connecticut man was arrested on multiple charges after crashing his car on I-684. State police said Eduardo Jimenez, 30, of Bridgeport, CT was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Troopers were sent to a car crash around 5:30 a.m. April 7 on Interstate 684 in the Town of Harrison.

The investigation at the scene found that Jimenez was driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

Police said he was also found to be in possession of about 32 grams of cocaine, more than $3,500 in cash and about 2.3 grams of marijuana.

Jimenez was arraigned in the Rye Brook Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail without bail.

He is next scheduled to appear in the Town of Harrison Court April 10.

Agencies assisting at the scene with the State Police included the Westchester County Police Department, Purchase Fire Department and Harrison Emergency Medical Services.
