I hope to see many friends and familiar faces at these wonderful events.

On Thursday, October 18 th, the Harrison Educational Foundation (HEF) will be holding its annual fundraiser at Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, CT. This year it will be a cocktail and dinner reception featuring the comedian Dan Naturman, as well as an exciting silent auction. As you may
know, HEF raises money for the exclusive benefit of the students of the Harrison Central School District, funding grants for special projects and programs beyond the scope of the normal school budget. You can learn more about the event and rsvp at www.Harrisoned.org . I hope everyone will join me at what I'm sure will be a wonderful evening to support our schools.

Individuals, families, and businesses are encouraged to take this time to review their disaster plans and insure preparedness for man made or natural adversities. This is an important measure and can be instrumental in protecting families and loved ones. New York State has developed a website to guide citizens in preparation for any type of incident at www.prepare.ny.gov .
