
Neuberger Museum of Art's Spring Benefit - Paper Jam 2012 - on April 28, features Works on Paper by Established and Emerging Artists
A "hot" opportunity for collectors to buy world-class art at less than gallery prices.
(March 15, 2012) Purchase, New York ……….. Paper Jam 2012, an annual auction and dinner party to benefit the Neuberger Museum of Art, will be held at the museum on Saturday evening, April 28. This popular event is an art collector's joy. Whether you are a seasoned or beginning collector, you can acquire work during the Silent and Live auctions by some of the hottest contemporary artists, at some of the coolest prices.

This year, among the over fifty works made of paper, or that incorporate paper, will be paintings, prints, photographs, drawings, collages, and sculptures by such artists as: Nancy Azara, Nancy Chunn, Rafael Ferrer, Wosene Worke Kosrof, Barbara Kruger, Dana Melamed, Ursula von Rydingsvard, Leslie Wayne, and Joyce Wenglowski. All works will be displayed on the Museum’s website at www.neubeger.org and be on view at the Museum beginning April 16 and continuing through the event.
Funds raised provide essential support for the Neuberger Museum of Art’s education, outreach, public programs, and exhibitions. Paper Jam 2012 is chaired by Arlene and Benedict Morelli, and Helen Stambler Neuberger and Jim Neuberger. The Corporate Sponsor is David Yurman. Art Acquisition Co-Chairs are Monica and Rick Segal, and Sara and Michelle Vance Waddell.

Paper Jam 2012 begins with cocktails and ‘dinner by the bite’ at 6 p.m., during which time one can preview the art and bid on works in the Silent Auction which ends at 8:15 pm. The Live Auction begins at 8:30 pm, followed by dessert and checkout at 9:30 pm. Dessert and coffee will be served at 9:30 pm.
