Fatal Rollover on I-684

HARRISON, NY — A driver died in a one-car crash on I-684 on Thursday morning near the interchange with I-287.

State police were in the process of notifying the family, so had not identified the driver, who was a 65-year-old from Yonkers, State Police spokeswoman Trooper Melissa McMorris said.

The car left the southbound lanes and rolled over. Emergency crews from several neighboring communities responded to the accident scene.

The cause is under investigation.
