
A 42-year-old Port Chester man confessed to police that he had swiped approximately $600 from Paul's Dry Cleaners on 368 Halstead Ave. in a series of burglaries in May and July.
The man said he had stolen $550 from the store's cash register during a 12-hour interval on May 6 and 7, 2013 , according to police reports. He took an additional $60 on July 23 at 1:10 a.m., he said.
The Port Chester resident was charged with two counts of third degree burglary, felonies, on July 24, and taken to Westchester County Jail in Valhalla. His bail was set at $25K.
He will return to Harrison court on July 30 at 9 a.m.
