Felony DWI in Harrison

A traffic violation is what led police to stop the car on I-95.

HARRISON, NY – at 7:55 p.m. May 28, State Police stopped a vehicle on I-95 for a traffic violation.  

They concluded the driver of the vehicle, Alvin Rivera, 48, of Bronx, NY, was intoxicated.  He was transported and processed at the state police barracks in New Rochelle, where he refused to submit to a breath test to determine the alcohol content in his system.

Rivera was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on June 7, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
