Film, Talk on Food Programs at Fordham

Fordham Westchester recently hosted a screening of “Our Daily Bread,” an award-winning, 45-minute documentary on emergency food programs.

The film was directed by Dale Lindquist, LCSW, DMin, Director, Online MSW Program in Fordham’s Graduate School of Social Service.

The screening and subsequent discussion about the hunger crisis in Westchester, which took place Nov. 12, was attended by members of Fordham’s Graduate School of Social Service, as well as representatives from The Food Bank for Westchester and St. John’s Bread & Life in Brooklyn.

The Food Bank for Westchester has led the fight against hunger in Westchester, serving 265 frontline programs that provide food directly to the 200,000 county residents who are hungry or food insecure.
