Four HHS Science Research Students Awarded at Westlake Science Fair

The Harrison High School Science Research program has four students bring home medals for their projects

Congratulations to Harrison High School Science Research students Leslie An, Ari Heilbrunn, Keo Azar and Darren Trippichio who received awards at the annual Westlake Science Fair.

Ari Heilbrunn’s presentation titled “Effects of Drug-Eluting Stents (DES) Used in Balloon Angioplasty” and Leslie An’s research titled “Role of Developmentally Regulated Heat Shock Proteins in Genetic Expression of Drought and Heat Tolerance in Plants” received second place medals.

Keo Azar’s work “Changes of Axonal Projection Oscillations in Sleep-Mutant Drosophila” and Darren Trippichio’s project “Color and Its Potential Relations to Inattentional Blindness and Traits of a Human Eye” received third place medals.
