Harrison Central School District Drinking Water Deemed Safe
HCSD Takes Proactive Approach To Testing Water Safety in Schools

The Harrison Central School District took a proactive approach to making certain the water in the schools is safe for its students and teachers to drink. Given alarming local and National news regarding unsafe drinking water in schools, District officials enlisted the professional services of Louis Berger & Associates, PC to conduct testing on the drinking water in all six schools. The testing at all six sites indicated the water was safe for drinking.
As an additional precaution, Superintendent Dr. Louis Wool announced at the April 20th Board of Education meeting that the District will continue to test the water quality in the six buildings every six months to ensure its safety, and the tests will include areas that are not usually tested including bathrooms.
