Harrison Cops Will Try To Catch Kids Being Good
To increase positive police and youth interaction, office will distribute a gift certificate to any kid they see "doing the right thing."

HARRISON, NY — The Harrison Police Department is starting a new community initiative for the month of July 2017 geared towards young residents. In an effort to increase positive police and youth interaction, police will be distributing a gift certificate to any kid who has been observed “doing the right thing."
The initiative calls for immediate action. A uniformed Member of the Police Department could present your child right then and there with a “Congratulations! You Deserve a Treat!” certificate redeemable at a local business listed below.
An example would be a kid observed wearing a bicycle helmet while cycling, helping a friend or neighbor in a time of need, and performing a civic or volunteer service.
