Harrison High School Band Collaborates With the Crane Wind Ensemble
Harrison High School musicians perform with prestigious Crane School of music collegiate group from SUNY Potsdam

The Harrison High School Concert Band had the unique opportunity to play alongside members of the prestigious Crane Wind Ensemble from the prestigious Crane School of Music. This partnership was made possible through the direction of Harrison High School Co-Director of Band and Crane School of Music alum David Blumenthal.
Under the direction of conductor Brian K. Doyle, the Crane Wind Ensemble is comprised of 56 of the most outstanding wind and percussion majors in the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and is performing at high school and middle schools on their way to perform at the Eastern Division Conference of College Band Directors National Association conference.
The Crane Wind Ensemble played an opening piece with the Harrison High School Concert Band and then played a beautiful concert of contemporary music written in the 21st century (2000-2015).
